The OBJECTIVE

A WORKPLACE THAT FEELS THE WAY IT PERFORMS

Delivered in collaboration with Concept Commercial Interiors, this project began with more than a floor plan, it began with an intention. M3 Property's new head office on Level 48 of Bourke Place needed to embody culture, connection and high performance, not just house it. Perched above Melbourne's legal and financial precinct, the space came with rare gifts: a curved façade, sweeping sea views and abundant natural light.

Our objective was to honour that energy rather than fight it. The design follows the architecture's natural form, layering sculptural curves, warm earthy tones and refined finishes so the space feels grounded the moment you step out of the lift.

DESIGNED FOR CONNECTION, MOVEMENT AND CALM

Every zone was shaped around how M3's people want to feel and work. Terracotta sit-to-stand workstations encourage movement and support wellbeing, while a central "think tank" — softly defined by a sheer curtain — invites spontaneous collaboration without breaking the open sightlines to the view.

The breakout space celebrates the sea outlook with layered greens and blues chosen to evoke calm and connection, warmed by timber accents, plush velvet and sculptural furniture that feels more residential than corporate.

Private offices were removed entirely, creating an egalitarian layout that strengthens cohesion and reflects M3's commitment to transparency. The result — brought to life alongside the delivery team at Concept — is a bright, character-filled workplace where professionalism and personality sit in balance: a space that empowers its people and elevates the brand every day.
